Your project will be judged within the time slot stated on your lanyard. There are lots of participants presenting projects, so please be patient if the judges are running slightly behind schedule.
If you are not at your bench for a few minutes to take a bathroom break, don’t worry — the judges and judging helpers will be double- and triple-checking that all projects are judged. To help them with that, add your green check-in sticker on the desk sheet to tell them you’ve arrived.
Outside of your time slot, you have free time throughout the day to talk to other participants about their projects and take part in the activities. There will also be lots of people who are not judges that will want to talk to you about your project, both young people and adults.
Some projects may be judged twice for some of the special prizes and to ensure our judging is consistent. This will happen in the morning, when most judging is taking place, and between 1pm and 2pm. Judges will continue to circle to make sure they see all the projects they need, so do not worry about taking short breaks to see the rest of the exhibition outside of your judging time.
